What personal data we collect and why we collect it


If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Who we share your data with



In accordance with Article 13(1) and (2) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free flow of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR) (Official Journal of the EU L 119.1 of 04.05.2016) I inform that:

(1) The administrator of the personal data is the “Zielony Słoń” Foundation 63, A. Struga Street, Lublin 20-709.

(2) In matters of personal data protection and exercising your rights, you can contact the Administrator via e-mail: or by post with the note “personal data”;

(3) Your personal data will be processed on the basis of: – Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR(voluntarily given consent) in order to participate in the e-learning course organized by the “Green Elephant” Foundation initiative and to communicate with participants on matters related to the organization of the course.

4th The personal data you provide will not be transferred to other entities except those authorized by law.

(5) Your personal data will be processed for the duration of the processing purpose,

In the case of consent to receive information about other events will be processed until its cancellation;

6th You have the right to access the content of your data and the right to rectify, delete or restrict its processing and the right to object to processing, and in the case of consent, the right to withdraw it at any time without affecting the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal;

7. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection, if you consider that the processing of personal data violates the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016;

8. The provision of data is voluntary, but necessary for the purposes for which they were collected, without their provision it will not be possible to participate in the course;

9. Personal data will not be subject to transfer to a third country or international organisation, nor will it be subject to automated decision-making, including profiling.
